Precautions for safe operation of induction metal smelting furnace
1. Induction metal smelting furnaces all use potentially dangerous intermediate frequency power supplies, and induction metal smelting furnaces are designed for safe, effective and reliable operation and easy maintenance (if the operation is correct).
2. The standard operation of the operator can make full use of the safety facilities. Random destruction of these safety facilities will endanger the operation
Safety of personnel. The following precautions should be observed frequently:
3. Lock all the cabinet doors of the intermediate frequency power supply. The keys are only suitable for qualified maintenance and repair personnel who require to open the cabinet doors.
4. When the induction metal smelting furnace is started, ensure that the cover and other protective covers are always covered. Each time the furnace is turned on, it must be inspected before it is turned on. Positioned high-voltage equipment is a potential hazard to personnel in the work area.
5 The main power supply must be cut off before opening the cabinet door or checking the control circuit board.
6. Use only certified test equipment when repairing circuits or components, and follow the procedures recommended by the manufacturer.
7. During the maintenance period of the distribution box or induction furnace, the power supply shall not be arbitrarily connected, and a warning sign should be placed or locked at the main power supply.
8. Every time the induction metal smelting furnace is turned on, check the contact between the ground electrode wire and the charge or the molten bath.
9. The ground electrode is not in good contact with the charge or molten bath, which will generate high voltage during operation. Electric shock can cause serious injury or even death.
10. The operator must use conductive tools (slag shovel, temperature probe, sampling spoon, etc.) to contact the melt. When touching the melt, turn off the intermediate frequency power supply or wear high-voltage wear-resistant gloves.
11 .Operators should wear special wear-resistant furnace gloves for shoveling, sampling, and temperature measurement.
