The heating temperature of the slab varies depending on the material and process. During the rolling process, the heating temperature of the slab varies according to the type of steel.
1. Oriented silicon steel
The heating temperature range of oriented silicon steel is usually between 1250℃ and 1380℃. Specifically, the heating temperature of traditional oriented silicon steel production technology is generally between 1350℃ and 1380℃, and laboratory studies have shown that by adjusting the chemical composition and process, the heating temperature can be reduced to 1250℃ to 1300℃.
2. 65Mn steel
The heating temperature of 65Mn steel is controlled between 1200℃ and 1280℃, and the heating time is controlled between 2.5 and 3.5 hours. Due to the high carbon content of 65Mn steel, the temperature and time of each section of the heating furnace need to be strictly controlled during the heating process to avoid excessive thermal stress.
3. Carbon structural steel and low alloy structural steel
In steel structure construction, the heating correction temperature range of carbon structural steel and low alloy structural steel is 700℃ to 800℃, the maximum temperature shall not exceed 900℃, the minimum temperature shall not be lower than 600℃, and it shall be cooled naturally after heating.
