If The induction melting furnace Suddenly Has A Power Outage During Use, The Following Measures Should Be Taken:
1. Check if the cooling water of the coil is normal. If it is not normal, follow the emergency plan for water stop to ensure the cooling water is normal.2. Notify the squad leader understands the cause and time of the power outage, and then takes the following measures:
1) Within 4 hours of power failure, cover the furnace mouth with asbestos cloth, do the insulation work, and return to normal and then melt with 200KW power.
2) In order to avoid the solidification of the molten iron in the furnace and destroy the lining of the furnace, all the molten iron should be poured out, and use the asbestos cloth to heat preservation. After the fault is removed, the furnace can be restarted.
3) If the control power supply is also powered off and the molten iron cannot be poured out, the insulation should be done until the normal power transmission, according to the operating rules, and the power is raised by 100KW, so that the furnace temperature reaches 900 °C or more, and then rise the power is 200KW,The molten iron melts (to prevent the molten iron from pulverizing in the furnace when melting with high power).
4) After the furnace molten iron is produced, observe the change of the lining. If the furnace lining has a large wear surface, stop to use it and the lining should be repaired or removed.
5) For the induction melting furnace which a power outage accident has occurred, it is necessary to strengthen the monitoring before use. First, it is necessary to manually test whether the alarm system is normal, and compare the alarm coefficient with the pre-accident. When the alarm coefficient is found to increase greatly, the furnace production can be performed.
