Repair and maintenance of induction melting furnace lining
When longitudinal cracks appear in the furnace wall, slow heating should be adopted to make the cracks close before melting.
When a transverse crack occurs in the furnace wall, fine powder refractories can be filled in the transverse cracks according to the actual situation, and then the charging melting is carried out.
When the bottom of the induction furnace is corroded, the lining can be repaired, and then covered with iron plate after repair, and then melted at low power for a period of time and then melted at full power.
The maintenance and maintenance of the lining is generally carried out in the case of a cold furnace. The furnace should be cooled by natural cooling or water cooling system, and water cooling is not allowed.
After the smelting is finished, the molten iron is cleaned. In order to prevent cracks on the furnace wall, an asbestos board should be added to the furnace mouth for heat preservation.
If the induction melting furnace is shut down for a long time, it should be slowly heated and melted at the next opening, so that the fine cracks in the charge are self-healing.
