Factors to be considered in the design of induction melting furnace load sensors

induction melting  furnace principle medium frequency furnace load sensor design should consider factors

The intermediate frequency furnace load sensor inductor is one of the main components in the induction heating circuit. It is related to the quenching quality of the part and the production efficiency of the heat treatment. Therefore, the inductor has the following requirements: high heating efficiency; good quality of the quenched part; simple structure. Easy to manufacture; solid and durable, saving materials.
There are several factors to consider when designing an inductor:
The material, size, shape and structure characteristics of the quenched parts and the high-frequency processing technical conditions.
Parameters such as frequency and power of high-IF generators.
Part quenching method and quenching device condition.
The degree of automation of the quenching process and the required production efficiency. ’
Medium frequency furnace load sensor structure
High frequency sensor
High frequency continuous quenching sensor. The structure is relatively simple, consisting of two parts: the effective ring and the wire. When quenching, a sprinkler is installed under the inductor to cool the parts.
Intermediate frequency sensor
Medium frequency continuous quenching sensor. It is to drill the water jet hole on the inner ring of the effective circle. The effective circle has two functions: heating the part and cooling the part.
Material size of medium frequency furnace load sensor
The high frequency inductor is made of pure copper tube, and the intermediate frequency sensor is usually made of pure copper plate because of the difference in current frequency and power on the inductor. Each part of the inductor should be described. The high-frequency inductor is not directly mounted on the quenching transformer. A transition plate is added between the quenching transformer and the inductor, which is called a conductive plate. The purpose of the conductive plate is to make the structure of the inductor simple, and the operator to replace the sensor is convenient, but the size of the conductive plate varies from factory to factory, and in principle, it is short. When the intermediate frequency is quenched, there is rarely a conductive plate, and the inductor is directly connected to the quenching.
Manufacture of inductors for intermediate frequency furnace load sensors
The manufacturing quality of the sensor is directly related to the quenching quality of the part and the service life of the inductor. Therefore, the sensor manufacturing work is an important aspect of the sensor heating operation, but there are many specific problems, which are not enumerated here.
Pay attention to the following points when manufacturing the sensor:
Pure copper is easy to work harden and requires multiple annealing during the manufacturing process.
The welding temperature should be appropriate and the welding speed should be fast to prevent the oxidation of pure copper. It is best to weld it once.
The solder is preferably made of brass, and the silver solder is less likely to be used for repair, and the flux is preferably dehydrated borax.
