Repair method of induction melting furnace for 15 years old maintenance worker
Manufacturers always have problems of one kind or another in the process of using induction melting furnaces. As a professional electrician repairing induction melting furnaces, when an induction melting furnace fails, how to quickly check and determine the cause of the failure, so as to draw up a maintenance plan. It is an important indicator for testing maintenance workers.
Under normal circumstances, the operator can divide the faults of the induction melting furnace into two types according to the fault phenomenon, one is that it cannot be started at all, and the other is that it cannot work normally after starting. According to the general principle, after the failure occurs, the entire system of the induction melting furnace must be checked thoroughly when the power supply is disconnected to ensure safe operation. Such a comprehensive inspection is divided into the following contents: The first is the power supply. Use a multimeter to measure the switch of the main circuit and whether there is current passing after the fuse is turned on. This method can rule out the possibility of disconnection of these components. . Next, check whether the rectifier is in a normal working state. The rectifier uses a three-phase fully controlled bridge rectifier circuit, which includes 6 fast fuses, 6 thyristors, 6 pulse transformers, and a freewheeling diode. Finally, check the quick-release fuse. There is a red indicator on the quick-release fuse. Normally, the indicator is retracted in the shell, and it will pop out when it is about to melt and blow. However, some indicators are tight when installed, so they do not pop out but get stuck inside after melting, so for safety reasons, you should still use a multimeter to test it out of gear.
Through the above several aspects of detection, it is basically possible to quickly locate the faulty component, and then formulate a maintenance plan based on the specific fault phenomenon.
