Reasons for overheating damage of intermediate frequency furnace lining
The main reasons for overheating are:
1) Unreasonable feeding causes bridge of metal materials in the furnace;
2) Remaining metal materials in the lining section of the raft;
3) The furnace temperature is out of control and the solution pool is overheated; the specific analysis is as follows:
a. When the cold charge accumulates on the surface of the bath (especially the pouring material), it is easy to form a bridge. If the bridge charge is still in the solid state and continues to deliver more power, the metal liquid at the bottom of the bath may be overheated.
b. When the lining begins to sinter, the metal objects remaining in the lining material absorb a large amount of power and locally overheat, and the lining is rapidly melted to form voids.
c. The melting temperature of the siliceous dry material is 1704 ¡ã C. The temperature of the furnace is out of control and will exceed this temperature in a short time, causing overheating and burning and melting (preferably the high temperature does not exceed 1540 ¡ã
