The 20 T induction melting furnace is an energy-saving induction melting furnace. According to the difference of inverter resonance, it is divided into ordinary classic line 20 T parallel induction melting furnace and 20 T one-to-two induction melting furnace . The 20 T induction melting furnace is composed of a 12-pulse intermediate frequency power supply, It consists of two 20 T steel shell furnace bodies, a hydraulic tilting furnace, and a complete set of water cooling systems.
1. Ordinary classic line 20 T parallel induction melting furnace
One set of 20 T parallel induction melting furnace with a power of 10000 kw is equipped with two 20 T melting furnaces. Use two 5000KVA special rectifier transformers for 10000KW, 12-pulse intermediate frequency power supply.

20 T one to two induction melting furnace rectifier transformer
The rectifier transformer is used to reduce the primary high voltage to the input voltage suitable for the intermediate frequency power supply. It adopts a special high impedance oil-immersed self-cooling rectifier transformer, and the S11 type high-efficiency three-phase oil-immersed distribution transformer 6300KVA
This kind of rectifier transformer generally adopts Y/d11, Y0 connection group mode, and the secondary output is two groups, one of which is Y-connected, and the other is d11-connected, so that the phases of the two sets of output will be A difference of 30° from each other forms a 12-pulse rectification method. Compared with six-pulse rectification, this rectification method can effectively suppress the 5th and 7th harmonics and reduce the interference of harmonic components to the power grid. Therefore, this rectifier transformer is used in large electric furnaces.
