The process flow of aluminum rod heating furnace mainly includes the following 7 steps.
1. Loading: Place the aluminum rod at the feed port of the heating furnace and prepare for heating treatment.
2. Preheating: The aluminum rod is first fed into the preheating zone. The temperature of this zone is usually set at a lower level to avoid cracks on the surface of the aluminum rod due to excessive temperature difference. The preheating process allows the aluminum rod to gradually adapt to the subsequent high temperature environment.
3. Heating: The preheated aluminum rod enters the heating zone. The temperature in this zone is higher, usually between 500¡æ and 600¡æ. The burner or electric heating element inside the heating furnace heats the aluminum rod to the required temperature to meet the requirements of subsequent processing technology.
4. Temperature uniformity: During the heating process, the aluminum rod needs to stay in the heating zone for a period of time to ensure that the temperature inside and outside the rod is uniform. This step is crucial to ensure the heat treatment effect of the aluminum rod
5. Insulation: After heating to the target temperature, the aluminum rod is kept in the furnace for a certain period of time to ensure the heat treatment effect. The insulation time is adjusted according to the size of the aluminum rod and the required heat treatment effect.
6. Cooling: After the insulation is completed, the aluminum bar needs to be cooled. In the cooling zone, the aluminum bar gradually cools down to prevent internal stress or cracks caused by excessive cooling. The cooling method can be natural cooling or forced cooling.
7. Discharging: After the aluminum bar is cooled to a safe temperature, it is taken out from the discharging port of the heating furnace and prepared for subsequent processing or use.
