Steel Melting Furnace
Steel melting furnace is an induction furnace using steel 200 ~ 2500Hz frequency power supply for induction heating, power 200kw-20000 KW, according to the tonnage divided into: small, medium, large steel furnace.
The steel furnace is mainly used for the induction furnace which is also used for casting, induction furnace steel making and melting steel.
The whole set of steel furnaces consumes about 550 ¡À 5% kW.h/t of water per ton of steel. The equipment includes intermediate frequency power cabinet, compensation capacitor, furnace body (two) and water-cooled cable, and tilting mechanism . The furnace body is composed of a furnace shell, an induction coil, a furnace lining, a tilting furnace mechanism , and the like. The furnace shell is made of a non-magnetic material, and the induction coil is a spiral cylinder made of a rectangular hollow tube, and the cooling water is passed through the tube during smelting. The coil leads out the copper row and communicates with the water-cooled cable. The furnace lining is close to the induction coil and is sintered by quartz sand. The tilting of the furnace body is directly rotated by the tilting mechanism to pour out the molten iron .
