    How to choose a forging furnace?

    1. The selection of forging heating furnace is to first pay attention to the heating temperature and determine the material of the heated workpiece. The heating temperature of the heated workpiece of different materials is different, and it must meet the heating process requirements. For example, the heating temperature of alloy steel material is 1200 degrees, the heating temperature of aluminum material is 450 degrees, and the heating temperature of copper alloy material is 1000 degrees. The heating temperature should be determined according to the process requirements.

    2. The selection of forging heating furnaces should pay attention to the external dimensions of the heated workpieces. The weight of the heated workpieces can be determined by the external dimensions, so as to determine the heat absorbed by the workpieces heated to the process temperature to simply determine the heating power. In principle, the shape and size of the workpiece to be heated are large, round bars, and solid materials, and a bar heating furnace with high relative power and low frequency should be used; High frequency bar heating furnace.

    3. The selection of forging heating furnace should pay attention to the depth and area of the workpiece heating. If the heating depth is deep, the area is large, and the overall heating is performed, the bar heating furnace with high power and low frequency should be used; the heating depth is shallow, the area is small, and the local heating is performed, and the bar heating furnace with relatively low power and high frequency should be selected.

    4. The selection of forging heating furnace should pay attention to the heating rhythm of the workpiece. The heating speed of the workpiece needs to be fast, and the bar heating furnace with relatively large power and relatively high frequency should be selected.

    5. The selection of the forging heating furnace should pay attention to the continuous heating time and the degree of automation, and determine whether it is equipped with automatic feeding and conveying equipment.

    6. The selection of forging heating furnaces should pay attention to the connection distance between the induction components and the equipment. The connection is long, and even requires the use of water-cooled cables for connection. The medium frequency induction heating furnace with higher power should be selected relatively.

    7. The selection of forging heating furnaces should pay attention to the process requirements. Generally speaking, for processes such as quenching and welding, the relative power can be selected to be smaller and the frequency to be higher. For annealing, tempering and other processes, the relative power should be larger and the frequency to be lower. Some; red punching, hot calcining, smelting, etc., if a process with good heating effect is required, the power should be selected larger and the frequency should be selected lower.
