    Causes of sudden shutdown of induction melting furnace

    If large-area leakage of molten steel occurs, the load current of the induction melting furnace rises rapidly and exceeds the protection current value, the induction melting furnace will automatically shut down to protect the equipment components from damage. After the furnace is repaired, it can operate as usual. If there is no short circuit or local ignition of the induction coil caused by the leakage of molten iron in the furnace lining, the load current does not exceed the equipment current protection value, and the induction melting furnace cannot be shut down, which is a normal phenomenon. Therefore, the user should always check whether the rated current protection value of the equipment is working properly. The alarm signal set by the lining thickness detection device can also be linked to the shutdown of the induction melting furnace, and the size of the alarm signal is carefully determined by the user. Because the signal is too large, it is easy to cause the equipment to malfunction, the signal is too small, and the action is not sensitive. The above two methods can make the variable frequency power supply stop during work, but the principle of causing the shutdown is different. You need to treat it separately and find the reason.
