Tundish

2) Features:

The tundish is an intermediate container between the ladle and the crystallizer. It is used for storing molten steel and distributing molten steel during pouring. When pouring the ladle to maintain the pouring operation, the steel flow entering the crystallizer is stabilized and the inclusions in the molten steel are floated.

The intermediate tank is made of a steel plate welded structure, lined with refractory material, and has an overflow groove and a support trunnion.

Crystallizer
