        Compact and efficient aluminum connecting rod automatic production line process description

       The most notable feature of the aluminum forging line is the replacement of traditional large equipment lines with compact linear lines. Automated transfer from material to final product inspection is done with robots, so efficient production can be achieved.


    The material of the aluminum connecting rod is A6061, and the process flow is as follows:

    The most important challenge for MF induction heating is how to eliminate temperature fluctuations when the material is heated. By optimizing the heating conditions, modifying the shape of the heating coil overcomes this problem. The device can be insulated for 30 s at a set temperature of 450 ¡ã and can remain insulated at this temperature in the event of a next failure.
    The volume of the roll forging machine is also much smaller than the traditional one, but the efficiency is greatly improved, and the module size is also greatly reduced. It is reduced from 320mm¡Á620mm¡Á230mm to 235mm¡Á600mm¡Á103mm, only 1/3 of the weight of the original module. . The new production line uses induction heating to keep the mold warm, and the mold surface temperature is regulated by the water passing through the mold. Forging host selection. Due to the lower forging temperature of aluminum alloys, it is generally less than 500. C, this helps to form on the hydraulic press. Finally, the 3000t hydraulic press was chosen. The height of the hydraulic press has also been greatly compressed, from the original 13400mm to 4300mm.
    The new line uses a smaller heat treatment furnace with a rotating hearth that accommodates five types of parts, each placing 50 pieces of each type, with a fan in the center. Through careful and compact design, all the entire aluminum forging line can be installed in a 200 square area with an overall height of 4.5m, while the traditional production line requires 500 square meters. The line is fully automated by robots, covering everything from forging, heat treatment to inspection. The machining line is only 10m away from the forging line. Building such a production line will save more than 50% of the investment in traditional production lines. With the rise of labor costs, the lack of on-site talents, all the short-cycles required by users, large batches of products, and high dimensional accuracy; forging companies to establish automatic or semi-automatic production lines is an effective way. This not only saves energy, improves on-site labor conditions, creates a good working environment, but also reduces costs and improves product competitiveness.
